  2. Creating Backgrounds (setting)

    March 24, 2014 by khornby

Today the prep student’s were exploring what settings are in stories. They discovered that settings could be a jungle, a beach, a sunset, tree house, under the sea, houses or volcanoes. After our discussion, they collaborated in small groups to create a background (the setting) for a story. They created their backgrounds using paper collage.

  3. Sleeping, Sleeping…

    March 14, 2014 by khornby

They needed to use their bodies and imagination to step into the role. There was wonderful creativity being displayed and problem solving (how can you step into the role of a tree?!?).
